I’ve spent the last several years building something far beyond what I could have imagined — something born from both pain and purpose. A Wild Ride Called Life Media is not just a brand; it’s the next chapter of my journey — a space where storytelling, music, and lived experience meet to heal, inspire, and connect.
This media branch grew from the foundation I built eight years ago when I launched A Wild Ride Called Life™ — a space that began with raw stories, blog posts, and honest conversations about mental health, military life, and rediscovery. That foundation became powerful — it became movement, purpose, and healing not only for me but for so many others who saw themselves in the stories I shared.
After retiring from the U.S. Army as a Major, I found myself in a world that didn’t always understand what came after service. So, I turned to what I knew best — telling the truth through stories. I began writing, podcasting, and interviewing people whose experiences mirrored the highs and lows of my own. That led to media work, red carpets, press rooms, and now, this — my own platform built from the ground up.
As part of this next evolution, A Wild Ride Called Life Media also incorporates Ann Whitt Music — my creative outlet as an independent artist and producer. Music became a natural extension of my storytelling, allowing me to transform lived experiences into lyrics and sound. Through songwriting and production, I continue to explore healing, identity, and purpose from a deeply personal place — connecting emotion to art in ways that words alone cannot.
I am also continuing to expand into film, working on the development of a movie ——-bringing my story of service, sacrifice, and rebirth to life on screen. It’s more than a film; it’s a reflection of the emotional truth that storytelling in every form can change hearts, bridge communities, and create understanding.
As I move toward publishing another book and producing this film, this platform continues to serve as the heartbeat behind it all — a place where stories of struggle and triumph collide to create something real. Every word, photo, lyric, and conversation is rooted in authenticity and compassion.
Through A Wild Ride Called Life Media, I use storytelling, music, journalism, and photography as tools for healing and advocacy. My mission is to elevate voices and create a safe, inclusive community — one that gives space to veterans, military families, and everyday people rediscovering who they are. Whether I’m covering events like Austin City Limits, interviewing independent artists, or producing songs that speak to resilience, I want every story to remind someone that it’s never too late to begin again.
Right now, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes — projects, partnerships, and ideas that I’m not ready to reveal just yet. But in time, you’ll understand that my passion never stopped. It’s only grown stronger, deeper, and more intentional.
I’ve always believed that storytelling saves lives, and through A Wild Ride Called Life Media, I’m continuing that mission — one story, one song, one film, and one photograph at a time. This is where authenticity lives. This is where we rise again.
“I’ve walked through fire and turned it into fuel. Every setback became a story, and every story became a way forward. This is more than media — it’s movement, meaning, and the proof that purpose always finds its way home.”
