Teenage suicide

I am going to be honest. I couldn’t read the full article. I couldn’t finish it because of how this hits too close to my heart.

There have been kids the same age as my own who felt like they had no way out.

My own son went into a dark place that it took us a long time to figure out.

This is not easy at all.

We need to all come together and end the stigma for ALL ages.

I can’t even imagine what the parents are feeling. Just last week one of our neighbors at Fort Polk lost their son to suicide. Last year a girl in my sons grade took her own life.

Two years ago another high school teen in the same school district took his life. The list goes on and on and it doesn’t seem to stop.

I can’t even imagine any of this.

Please continue to talk to your kids about anything and everything.

As I sit here and worry about my own children, I also worry about everyone else’s.

This is part of my why.

Why I do what I do.

Why I am a complete sap. Why I will continue to fight all day and night to help you all know that you are not alone.

Please share. Please pray. Please continue to help me stop this.
