My name is Paul Hutson. I am the founder and CEO of Victory Warrior, a clothing brand started to help people realize, encourage and celebrate all victories. I am a retired US Navy Veteran, having served 20 years in the military. I have been married for over 25 years. Starting a business is not an easy task. I had a hard time trying to figure out what I wanted to do. One day while I was shaving, an idea popped into my head, and I started a clothing brand. I thought that I was going crazy but even the name came to me then.
This journey of Entrepreneurship has not been an easy road. I sometimes have feelings of self-doubt. But, I know that I was meant to go on this journey because there is something more powerful at work here, my faith. I truly believe I was led down this road for a reason. We all struggle with celebrating victories in our lives because we wait for that one huge victory thinking it will somehow propel us to a higher place. I am here to tell you though, that celebrating even the little victories are rewarding and have the capability of getting you to that “higher” place sooner than waiting on that one big victory.
My wife has been my biggest supporter, through my military service and now to supporting my Entrepreneurial journey. She has bene by my side taking care of the home while I was deployed and now she is with me as I transverse the road that I am on. Our marriage has been filled with ups and downs but through it all, we have loved each other and have grown even closer as the years carry on. I think that having someone that supports you and dreams with you makes a huge difference in your outlook on things.
We may have different jobs but as a couple, we support each other’s passions and pursuits of goals and ambitions. My business is slow right now but I know that in time, it will flourish and accomplish what I meant for it to. My dream is to be able to donate to charities that help Veterans, First Responders, and victims of domestic violence. I have always wanted to be able to do that and have never been able to because of financial limitations. Hopefully my sales will pick up and at some point, I’ll be able to do that.
