It’s Temporary

I’ve been through shit, just like some of you reading this. It is not easy because you feel like the victim and want to lash out at those that hurt you. Or, you put yourself into a situation that ended up going terribly wrong and you still want to be pissed. Pissed at the world and pissed at yourself. How long does that last? What do you end up really doing about it?

Do you end up crying for days and hiding in your room? Maybe eat too much or not eat at all?

Are you the type of person who calls your friend to come over or do you seclude yourself and not want anyone over?

Life is hard. Life sucks. Life teaches us lessons that we may not want to hear or see at that moment in time. Who wants to hear “I told you so?” Um, not me.

The one thing that has been brought to my attention is that it is only temporary. It may feel like it is the end of the world but it isn’t. I don’t want to hear and didn’t want to hear it but if you think about it, it’s true.

For those of you who don’t believe in the higher power, it’s ok. We can still be friends because I often struggled in believing as well. I actually lost my way a long time ago. I was blessed enough to have people walk into my life that showed me the way again. My military lifestyle was never easy but I always crossed paths with someone I obviously needed to meet. He just knew and I am so glad that he never gave up even when I did. Even if you don’t believe, I believe it for you. Even if you don’t pray, I am praying for you.

I went to church for the first time in a few years, so I am in no way perfect. I just try to believe in his timing and his work.

If you need reassurance or a prayer then do not ever be afraid to reach out. I may not have shared my whole story just yet, but I tell you that it is a miracle that I am still here.

If you need some steps as to how to make life worth living then comment or send me a message and I can send those to you.

If you need a one on one phone call then call me. We can tell our stories together and get through this.

Until then listen to Lauren Daigle and be inspired by her words and her voice. It may be a game changer.

Don’t give up, your story isn’t over yet. I am here to prove that one to you.
