She did it. A year ago yesterday, she graduated high school. In a year she survived more than we would have ever expected. She survived the car accident. She survived months of helping me through recovery. She survived missing out on her first semester of college. She also survived her second /first semester with all passing grades. She survived her freshman year in a whole new state by herself. This girl did it and I am so very proud. She is now home for just a few short weeks before she heads back for training to be a correctional officer as she gains experience towards her dreams of becoming an FBI agent. Nothing is going to hold her back.
No matter how much we tease you, we are so very proud of you big girl. You have endured through so much this past year. Keep reaching for the stars. You’ve got this.
