Today it would have marked 20 years that I would have served. I miss it daily. I miss the Soldiers and the camaraderie. I miss my battles and all the experiences I was given. I will always cherish the memories.
Now, God has given me another road to walk on and another journey to follow.
I miss my tribe but I have gained long lasting friendships with leaders, mentors, Soldiers and Peers and I will forever be grateful.
Here’s to another year and another chapter doing what I still love to do ... helping Soldiers and Veterans live life after the Military and learn how to cope through the stigma of mental health and stop soldier suicide.
It is ok to not be ok. We are real and we are human. .
